I can't watch half these videos because the music is so terrible.

that's amazing...I didn't have that problem at all...I guess the speakers on my computer don't put out sound when I tell them not to

For videos without comentary I don't see how you can possibly truly have a complaint about the audio not being to your liking. You could offer "constructive" comments regarding what his reader base may prefer to listen to, but to say you couldn't stand to watch the videos because of the music is a lame pot shot. Besides that, he even listed the music used before hand so you could turn off your sound before you had to agonize over listening to even one second of the music if you elected to do so.

ZOMFG internet emo does music crticism! What next?

(Presumably, you've watched the tomkong vs dev g3 semifinals 46 times to make up for it, on the back of the music being astounding. Either that, or turned off your sound?)

Get off your high horse kid. Chances are you have a mute function somewhere on your computer. Use it, watch the videos, be entertained by watching players much much better than you (and me for that matter.)and have fun with the game man.

I'm sorry that you decided the music was terrible. Next time, I'll hit up some Taking Back Sunday, some My Chemical Romance, and some Dethklok, hopefully with your permission, you know, because I absolutely have to please you and you alone when I do something like this.

Hopefully everyone else can see the sarcasm in this statement, If I'm doing something poorly besides picking out tracks to record to (which by the way, have to contain no profanity, so that takes out a ton of my catalog) let me know, what would you want to listen to?

Awesome Josh. IM kinda glad to see the end of this current standard. But i loved the last song you used and the first Joshua Radin song just because its from the best and saddest episode of scrubs of all time.

Thank you by JXClaytor at Mon, 10/12/2009 - 16:17

I'm really glad to see the end of standard, and look forward to Zendikar finally coming out.

Also, Joshua Radin is very talented, and I am a huge fan, thankfully Scrubs exists. :)

But can we expect anything by smartbomb (not verified) at Mon, 10/12/2009 - 19:51

But can we expect anything else than Ramp Cascade and 4AjaniV4Baneslayer.dec in the new Standard?

That;'s a pretty good question by JXClaytor at Mon, 10/12/2009 - 21:44

In my mind, I'm 100% sure that if your decklist does not start with 4x Bloodbraid Elf you're wrong, but that's just my opinion.

Didnt loved the music, thou by SnowPaperMonkey (not verified) at Tue, 10/13/2009 - 04:32

Didnt loved the music, thou didnt hated either. Even that 53N531 deserved the awards he got, I wish that some day people would be able to reply this kind of thing more politely.

More important, loved the game replays. It add a lot to readers/viewers experience and double as mtg history documentation.

Thank you, but... by Amar at Tue, 10/13/2009 - 08:11

Thanks for the videos.

However, trying to watch games for strategy I keep getting frustrated at Wizards for the way it never occurred to them that we might want to see players' hands. I know on the list of "Things MTGO does wrong for no reason" there's plenty ahead of it. But still, it makes what should be a superb learning experience rather pointless.

From the look of it, skill doesn't enter in and whoever draws their aggro curve better wins. But then I'm not entirely certain that isn't just R&D's actual design intent coming through.

That would be great by JXClaytor at Tue, 10/13/2009 - 11:01

But I think it would be too much of a strategic advantage for other players.

I know sometimes when I have the game wrapped up, I stop casting stuff, I would hate for my opponent to know that I have more than X of a copy of a card in my deck if I were keeping information hidden from my current opponent.

thank you very much for this by LOurs at Tue, 10/13/2009 - 12:11
