Friday was a day. I am off work for the semester, and was excited to hang out with friends for the first time in a long time. What better way to do that than to hang out and playing Magic? I really can not think of many better ways to spend the time! I loaded up the laptop went over to Wills (my streaming cohost.) and got ready to join the sealed.
We had a nice German lunch, and with filled bellies signed up for the event. I apologize for the random recording before we got to the actual building, but you see, as the parent of a pretty awesome five year old the events in Connecticut had distracted me a bit. All I wanted to do was go pick up Cassius from school and give him the biggest hug that I could, but knew that I could not. This weekend was the best weekend I had with him in sometime. I'm not here to preach about gun control or mental illness awareness or anything like that, but I will say if you have a kid, give them a bigger hug, make sure they know you love them.
Magic is a good distraction for me, and with a clouded mind, Will and I went to build the deck that we would battle with. I do not have the sealed pool as it was done on my laptop, but I do have videos of the build and of the game play from this event.
So I ended up 3-1 with this deck, which is good enough to buy in to another sealed event. That's exactly what I am going to do with this! I'll have another sealed deck for you all to comment on tomorrow as I get ready for Indy at the end of the week! I feel like I have improved a ton as a sealed deck builder from when I started this series and it's all thanks to you guys with the comments and words of encouragement! I appreciate all of the words of help!
