We've struck Roil, otherwise known as 'Blue Gold'. Splendid Belt delivers a fun Standard deck that combines a low purchase price with a relatively high power. Turns out not all junk rares are really junk...

Here's my 4th sealed on mtgo and the 2nd one I'm writing about. I had to choose between a metalcraft deck and an infect deck. Wanna see what ended up being the choice and how well it went? The bonus my 3rd sealed pool on mtgo but without the games as it represents the opposite direction of the other one.

What? Not Jhoira? Not Niv-Mizzet? No, I didn't go with either of those powerful legends. Instead, I went with this crazy couple. Check this article out for a deck and game report.

The M2011 Titans brought me back to the 100 singleton format. In my opinion, there is nothing that beats swinging with titans.

My brother and I have gotten in to playing paper Magic whenever I go visit. Here's a story of putting together and testing a Minotaur deck online, then bringing it into the physical world. I haven't bought paper cards since Homelands, so there were a few surprises along the way.

Scars has been released and we're now all getting familiar with the tricks of these cards. My ignorance about one in particular spurned the need for decks to be built and analyzed! So step in and let's check out a card who's ability I mistakenly overlooked. Also there will be some slight changes in my MTGO time, read on to find out.

I wanted to write about Scars Limited, but - well, I didn't learn much winning a ton of straight 2-0 matches. Based on my experience, I would advice drafting five Galvanic Blasts, two Oxidia Scrapmelters, Embermith and some bombs. In sealed, open a pool with 17 good poison creatures, plenty of removal and two pump spells. Useful advice, right? Instead, I'll follow up last week's article on the ethics of trading with one on the economics of trading.
