Decks don't need to be expensive to be fun. I will take a look at a deck in extended for less than ten tickets.

This week, see what happens when we take one of the Johnniest creatures in all of Ravnica to the center of the storm, where no spell fires just once, and you're pretty likely to have a board full of Eternal Witnesses recouping your entire graveyard!

Often from my MTGO friends, I hear the same story. They're on a tight budget with Magic. They recite their wish-list for when they get their next 20 tickets, then get a paycheck and spend $50- and don't end up with any of the cards they wanted. If that sounds familiar, don't worry. We'll look at some of the habits that MTGO players get into, and try to keep those tickets from evaporating.

Besides your fist pick, there are a lot of decisions to make in a draft, and even if you know the direction your going, you still have choices to make along the way. I could quote Morpheus and say there's a difference between knowing the path, and wlking the path, or something cheesy like that. Just read and post your thoughts in the forum. Thanks.

This article spotlights a new version of what could be argued as a recent "IT" deck in Legacy. Join me as I go through the reasoning for Splashing green into the Death n Taxes deck list and why, in this creature based list, you don't want to play Tarmogoyf.

This week I take a look at the Snake tribe. First from the older days of Kamigawa Standard and then with the newer Snakes of Alara. We'll see how the two can be combined in a Tribal Snake deck for the new age. Finally I'll take a quick look at all the creatures from RoE and where they fit in tribal.

It release season for Rise of Eldrazi. I want to talk about Eldrazi sealed a bit. At first, I figured to talk about the bomb-filled pool that carried me one event, but that's not very interesting. Instead, I'll look at a much more challenging build. I don't know whether this was built correctly, or even it there is an optimal build, but I can certainly say that this one made my brain hurt.

Put down a blanket, lay down, and gaze up at the starry night sky as the prices of Rise of the Eldrazi plummet through the atmosphere. Aren't the colors pretty when they burst into flames? It's almost romantic.

Lots of people like to talk about winning. They like to talk about what they do to win, and how often they win. But it is a lot harder to talk about losing. But even the best Magic players still lose a lot more games than they would like to. Learning how to lose is an important, but neglected aspect of the game.
