What to do with free time now that WOTC boards are down

I cooked my shoes in the dryer and ate them.

Now I'm hungry again and my feet are cold.

Slightly more serious, twitter is alright, but not the same.

I'm also in the group of folks lucky enough to preview the new WotC Community Site. It's nice and should be a very good replacement to the old boards.

Think MyMTGO + WotC Boards, but for all WotC products and you'll be about right. You can do the normal social networking stuff. Blog, wiki, etc.

But what's really nice about it are the groups. You can create groups and inside of those groups you can build forums, wikis, blogs, calendars, announcements, etc specifically for that group. Along with allowing/disallowing certain folks to be in them or see them. Ya rly. I'm pretty stoked about that actually.

I'll probably just work instead of trolling the boards for the next week. Bah. Work is nowhere near as entertaining.

Other diversions are fark.com, ebaumsworld.com, twitter, facebook. We'll see how long I last. :/
