Last season, players in the Vintage Super League played 50+ matches without a turn one kill. This season, they had two in the first week. Do turn one kills make Vintage more or less interesting?
Whatcha been playin’:
AJ: Monoblack Dragons with Recurring Nightmare shenanigans and Crux of Fate blowouts. Pete: Drafting FRF/KTK/KTK to limited success.
Take the quantity owned min and max to 0 then separate out by different variations. You will see every card available on the servers whether or not any of that printing is in circulation.
In this case I don't either. My assumption was that was how he "knows" but since port only shows as MM copies if you do this, he must be looking at something else. Perhaps the image files downloaded with the client on our machines. (Though if they are downloaded I don't see why they wouldn't show up.)
You can find most of new promos as you described with adjusting qty to zero at collection. But, I saw these new promos in twitter and later in imgur (same alt art Rishadan Port, picture delated few days after).
After today's announcement for Tempest Remastered, I guess we might also see a Mercadian Masques Remastered product instead, which would be better in the long term to make more cards accessible.
Big fan of the podcast, but wondering if the postcast (and Yawgmoth SO) is on iTunes or Stitcher Radio, or even just an RSS feed? Makes it so much more convenient to listen to (and make you reach more people).
The podcast can be put up on iTunes separately from MTGCast, and should be easy since it's already hosted on PureMTGO, could be put under a PureMTGO banner instead.
LOL @ sideboarding in Chess. Speak of which I beg to differ on your contention about King's Gambit, Pete. Unless you are a GM strength player playing at that level against other 2500+ players, King's Gambit is a perfectly fine and good opening. Assuming you play the right line. The correct line gives White serious attacking chances. The incorrect lines (of which there are many and which is the reason it is a maligned variation) lead Black into an aggressive but not necessarily won game.
Loved having Pete's interaction with AJ. Nice guest spot! :)

As of right now Rashadan Port is $30 more than Black Lotus.
Rishadan Port is already in the MTGO system for months with new art together with Griselbrand, Thalia, Hero's Downfall, etc.
I guess, we might see some of these cards with alternative art as MOCS promos within this year.
How do you know that? I'm not questioning the fact, I'm just curious how you came to know it. Like, is rishadan port in the legacy cube or something?

I still don't understand how to do that. that's cool though.

Hi guys,
Big fan of the podcast, but wondering if the postcast (and Yawgmoth SO) is on iTunes or Stitcher Radio, or even just an RSS feed? Makes it so much more convenient to listen to (and make you reach more people).
Thanks
It was on iTunes until mid-2013, when we cut ties with MTGCast.
