News:
WotC has recently announced their thoughts on prize sharing on MTGO.  The easy version, for the record, is that you're not allowed to add prizes or value to the split, and you can't tell/ask/offer concessions in the actual "split conversation".  To clarify it with new players/opponents, use the above link to explain the situation.

MTG Nationals this weekend!  Come hang out with the PureMTGO crew!  Contact Erik at hamtastic AT PureMTGO.com or Sebs at runeliger AT puremtgo.com!

Prices:
Poor, poor Baneslayer Angel.  She used to be sooo proud.  Now she's sub twenty tickets and crashing more.  The Green titan is holding and rising whilst the Grave titan is below 10 tickets.  If I were a speculator, I'd be snapping up a few extra copies of Grave Titan if at all possible.

Whatcha been playin':
AJ: Mono Red in a Commander Tribal Chaos event! Made it to third, woo!
Sebs: Lots and lots of sealed and prepping for Nationals.
Erik: EDH/Commander, RDW and TNMO.  Great times for all of them!

Made it to the playoff for third, anyway. An old friend took the bronze.

I watched AJ's final game by Paul Leicht at Tue, 08/17/2010 - 04:07

I watched AJ's final game which included Silvos Der Benny (Who won the whole game), Arthur(forget the rest of the name) and ColtonPower. It was very much anyone's game with each player showing real potential to just end the game. AJ's LD was instrumental in shutting down Art's monored goblin machine. Silvos' play of Keeper of Progenitus brought Art back into play but by then AJ's deck totalled him and Colton's tokens cleaned it up. Little did the two other survivors realize Silvos was plotting their downfall with a collective unconscious fueled creature drive involving the land stealer druid and lots of untap everything effects. Great game imho.

By the way I don't think the button for splitting not being included in v3 had anything to do with program-ability. I think they simply didn't like people splitting prizes in the finals and decided to make it a gray area with penalties.

Grats again Erik on your TNMO success.

As most commander games, very fun indeed! :-)
I had to sub out alot cards from my original Darien, King of Kjelldor deck to make it legal for this week's tribal criteria. It worked out ok, to certain point, LOL

BTW, The guy who won the final table, Chuck Norris, had an impressive infinite-turn solitaire wizard deck. Not very fun to play against. But dominant nonetheless. Also, props to "Julie" for taking the time to host our event.

Im new to this board, but I enjoy all the articles, particularly the Commander stuff!!
