Sounds like Zach was playing by GainsBanding at Thu, 02/09/2012 - 13:45

Sounds like Zach was playing Cantripping in steel cage, not me. He's the captain of Lotus Farmers and plays storm. I'm not in steel cage. Also need to correct your assessment about which clan is better.

Touché - my bad re: captain battle.

Also - you should come on the show next week and rep your clan as a super sweet guest.

For the record I didn't say or agree we are better, whiff and Andy love drama! (both clans rock and are easily bestestestest)

Contact me to get on bud, we record midday Saturdays!

Best,

Zach

All respect to Zach and Andy. by themagicman_22 at Fri, 02/10/2012 - 05:09

Wierd trinket mage bashing by Tarmotog at Sat, 02/11/2012 - 21:43

Wierd trinket mage bashing there..
Trinket mage is bad vs oath and usually only oath.
It's at least a 2 for 1 and moves past the common counters played (fow trinket mage? Yes pls). I would rather compare it to thirst for knowledge than a black tutor because i have had that conflict to face.
You usually already run the black tutors or prefer your card being blue for a hardy manabase.

Access to EE, needle, artifact land/mox/sol ring&frens, yard hate gives you a flexible plan as an intermediate step to build up or disrupt the opponent.
And you would be inclined to run a couple of thirst for knowledge to get more value for your overall toolbox package.

It is a card which fits a very specific type of deck in which it would be great because it does its job right as long as you design the deck properly to build up into something (like tezz?)

I agree in a more general by Paul Leicht at Sun, 02/12/2012 - 00:56

I agree in a more general sense (outside of just classic). Trinket Mage is so good as a fetch and is rather unassuming that it seems a must play for blue if there are any fetchables to be had with it.

I agree with you sir. As soon by whiffy at Sun, 02/12/2012 - 17:15
