Fifth Dawn is the last set to be added to the Modern Flashbacks before we go into a break for Oath of the Gatewatch. Can Joshua pick up some wins, or we looking at quick events?

It's Friday! In the paper world, Oath of the Gatewatch is on sale, and we will soon see constructed results with the cards. Splinter Twin and Summer Bloom are Banned! On MTGOO Wizards is trying (again) to kill 4 pack sealed and replace it with Phantom Sealed (now with better prize payouts.) Leagues are closing, some replays will be deleted, mana tapping is changing and the new MOPR promos have been announced. Plus more stuff, all just a click away.

There are generally big differences between playing in large-scale events, and playing in local competitive events. While I will most assuredly play Green Moon at GP: Detroit, it's not a deck that does well when playing against people who know me well, as everyone knows how to play around it. So, what do I pick up for a weekend full of GPT events, as I try to get byes for the GP.
