The Donner Party (sometimes called the Donner-Reed Party) was a group of American pioneers who set out for California via wagon train. Delayed by a series of mishaps, they spent the winter of 1846–47 snowbound high in the Sierra Nevadas. During this brutal winter, some of these settlers resorted to cannibalism to survive, eating those who had succumbed to starvation and sickness.

When you take a deck into a competitive environment, you want to make sure that you are the predator, not the prey of the top decks in a format. Today's deck spotlight is an object lesson in when netdecking a pro tour deck can result in you being on the wrong side of the predator/pretty dynamic.

One way to prepare yourself for a large tournament is to have folks to test your deck against. CLB found an online pal to clunk coconuts with. It's the battle of the millisecond, as CalmLittleBuddy squares off against Planeswalker83: The Shuffle Scuffle! (roar) All that, plus a Thoughtseize Owner's Manual, and the winner of last week's deck building contest is revealed! Sort of.

My number 8 was bumped by a lot of good articles so i have to edit it so the content will still be relevant in your casual plays.I am also trying out a more budget friendly GW manifest deck in the "is this casual" section. Come and see how it does.

There are multiple ways to playtest for a tournament. This can be done grinding online or in testing team. However, there is another option. That alternative is playtesting against yourself. There is a lot of information to learn by playing in a solitaire environment. Follow along as I explain why.
