Hello fellow Puremtgoers I am here to bring you a tournament report on a Red Deck Wins deck I put together and began running for a while before trying my luck in the daily event.  The reason I put the deck together was due to the Jace, the Mind Sculptor and Stoneforge Mystic banning, with STF gone most decks running her went from 8 Sword of War and Peace to simply 4 swords giving RDW some extra breathing room to do enough damage and put them in red zone before they even get to draw 1.  Here is the deck list I used.

As you can see I run more of a creature package, because a lot of decks main deck Leyline of Sanctity also I felt that the 4 haste creatures made the deck faster and more of a quick impact.  Goblin Guide is your true threat if he goes unopposed he can really do some brutal damage with Teetering Peaks, Goblin Bushwhacker, Goblin Chieftain, Goblin Wardriver, and Hero of Oxid Ridge paired up with anything else is just plain dangerous.  Spikeshot Elder is your sneaky ninja in this, it can ping for 1 multiple times depending on your mana and it gets plain nasty if paired up with the same supporters of Goblin GuideTeetering Peaks + Spikeshot Elder is very sexy.  Here are some videos of the tournament report some are missing because some didn't save in the game file in MTGO.

The 2nd game didn't save but I won that game as well.

The first game didn't save but I sided in +3 Flame Slash -3 Ember Hauler

 Made no changes in sideboard

Same deal here first game didn't save. Made no changes in sideboard

I ended up winning the whole event by going 4-0 without losing a single game,  I see UB control being dominate and more players picking the deck up.  UW control is still pretty strong and Valakut ramp is still kinda falling behind.

I believe due to the banning of SFM and Jace 2.0, RDW and UB control will move into a dominating position in standard till we get M12 coming in.  I have seen many versions of the RDW list, 1 has a Kiln Fiend and a bunch of burn for quick win.  Also there is a Shrine of Burning Rage in RDW which is obvious the object is to play shrine and cast red spells to bring the counters up high and just burn straight to the dome.  I suggest you guys throwing the deck together and try it out and see how it works for you, so until next time hello and good luck and happy gaming.
