Zendikar Rising releases on Arena and MTGO next week, and with it so close, I thought it'd be fun to take a look at what it was like on the eve of the very first Zendikar set, and compare it to what our format is and will be soon! Lots of things are eerily similar, others markedly different, so we'll take a long look at it!
