Aside from being my favorite color combination in the game, white-blue was also another favorite of mine in triple Shadows over Innistrad. There's just something about tapping down monsters and flying over for the win.

This week, I take a look at what the combination looks like with the addition of two Eldritch Moon packs. Let's get to it!

There we go. I have to admit, looking back (and especially with the experience I've gotten since I recorded this), I believe taking Spell Queller was wrong. There are three reasons for this: one, Bruna just generates a ridiculous amount of value; two, Bruna commits you to only a single color instead of the Queller's two; and three, the Queller is at its best in a deck that can be a bit more explosive in its rush, so as to make the drawback not matter most of the time. In limited, chances are these conditions won't be met.

Make no mistake: I still think Spell Queller is a great card, and I'd be happy to play it in any blue-white deck I draft. It's just that, in this limited format, I believe erring on the side of larger long-run value is a better choice.

Either way, this is all I have for you this week. I hope you enjoyed this, and see you soon.
