Hi everybody! Let me introduce myself! I'm Bernardo also known as BERNASTORRES online.

Recently, I started playing with Abzan Midrange on MTGO. Since I didn't know whether my sideboard plans were good or not, or if my deck had the best list, I started digging on Google trying to find articles that answered some of my questions! Unfortunately none of them dealt directly with my list or explained what I wanted, so I started to think of a way to discuss this with other people besides my friends! Thus, I decided to write this article

My decklist:

Now I'm going to show you my DE and I'll try to summarize what happened and how I sideboarded.
Round 1
Game 1

I actually don't have any regrets about how I played this game!  I think I played well, so I don't think I need to comment on this.

Game 2

Here is how I  sideboarded:
3x Arashin Cleric
2x Drown in Sorrow
1x Ultimate Price

I took out:
3x Thoughtseize
1x Dromoka's Command
1x Abzan Charm
1x Hero's Downfall

In this game maybe I shouldn't have been so aggressive.  I thought that if I waited too much I would never win . I also played three Arashin Cleric which helped me play this aggressively. Looking back, I could have also waited until turn six to play Elspeth, Sun's Champion, but I felt it was weak to (Mogis Marauder).

Round 2
Game 1

Here maybe I should have killed the mana dork instead of playing Courser of Kruphix. However I knew my opponent’s hand and I thought I could deal with most of their cards and potential draws. Having the courser in game helped me gain some life and play around (Crater's Claw). However he had it too early!

Game 2

This game wasn't really long. I dealt with his entire plays.

Here is how I sideboarded:

1x Drown in Sorrow
1x Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
1x Ultimate price

I took out

3x Thoughtseize

I'm not sure if they're good or not in this match up. Even though they’re better if I draw them in the early game, they are a really bad draw in the late game since my opponent can play around them, or I might have a Courser of Kruphix reveal it.

Game 3

Here it was a really short game. I think I might played bad in the turn I played Den Protector without any value. However I thought I had to put some pressure, since he wasn't playing anything.

Round 3
Game1

I lost this game because I didn't Bile Blight the tokens when Wingmate Roc was played . I thought it was a good way to play around Valorous Stance, I did have a Hero's Downfall to deal with the big guy.

Game 2

In my opinion the game came down to my mulligans and to my keep.

Here is how I sideboarded:

3x Duress
2x Glare of Heresy
3x Drown in Sorrow
1x Ugin, the Spirit Dragon

I don't really remember what I sideboarded out. As such, I’d like to get some feedback on what I should sideboard in this situation.

Round 4
Game 1

In this game I may have been greedy cracking 2 fetch lands because I didn’t have a lot of mana; however not playing anything would have been worse in my opinion. Also I played a Courser which could easily reveal a land. I think I had a good curve, and having a Hero's Downfall was good.

Game 2

Here is how I sideboarded:

1x Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
1x Dromoka's Command
1x Ultimate Price
1x End Hostilities

I took out:
3x Den Protector
1x Thoughtseize

Here I think I sideboarded poorly. I also regret activating Tasigur. I should have activated it before my opponent killed Elspeth, because on the next turn it would have helped me cast the Murderous Cut. Looking back, I think my opponent was too greedy, but I can see their point of view. He was going to lose to Elspeth anyway and I just had 2 draws (he would beat me in two turns with monstrosity).

I hope you give me some feedback, and comment what you think about my decklist.

I also would appreciate if you could help me with a sideboard! Now I'm thinking about adding Hidden Dragonslayer.

Also there are some new crazy cards to play, but I don't really know if some fit in my deck. Nissa and Liliana maybe are good in Junk Aggro, however not good in Junk Midrange! (Kothoped,Hoarder of Souls) seems really good and can be a sideboard card against Esper Dragons or mirror matches ( 6/6 flying for 6 in mirror seems like a really sweet card). I can also see some copies of Gilt-Leaf Winnower in sideboards !

Thank you for reading my article!
