Magic 30:  Information about Magic 30, the convention that will be the celebration of three decades of Magic: The Gathering came out today.  Of course, it's still going to be in Las Vegas, on October 28-30th, but ticket information, guests and tournaments were announced.  In addition to the tickets to Vegas, there will be a virtual offering which features both Arena and Magic Online.  You can check out that information here.  For virtual tickets, you can check that out here. 

Li'L Giri Saves the Day:  The exclusive Secret Lair for Magic 30 features art by kawasumi, tells heroic story through the art and flavor text of the cards.  The drop only comes in foil, and you get a copy of Peek, Greed, Curiosity, Vandalblast and Last Chance.  This is also a part of the Festival in a Box.  You can see it here.

Note: all my prices come from the fine folks at MTGOTraders.com. These are retail prices, and generally the price of the lowest priced, actively traded version. (Prices for some rare promo versions are not updated when not in stock, so I skip those.) You can get these cards at MTGOTraders.com web store, or from their bots: MTGOTradersBot(#) (they have bots 1-10), CardCaddy and CardWareHouse, or sell cards to MTGOTradersBuyBot(#) (they have buybots 1-4). I have bought cards from MTGOTraders for a decade and a half now, and have never been overcharged or disappointed.

The big number is the retail price of a playset (4 copies) of every card available on MTGO. Assuming you bought the least expensive versions available, the cost of owning a playset of every card on MTGO is approximately a number that I cannot figure out still. I have actually asked Pete to do this for me, because Open Office is weird, and I have no idea what I am doing, and I am pretty close to just being a dog in a labcoat.
 

In Closing

Since I sold my account, I have been focused on setting up the surprises that I got for Cassius I got the last bit of it on on Wednesday, and I am really looking forward to the mood booster that I will get when he gets here later on tonight.   I need it!

Also I haven't touched a game of Pauper, Premodern, Penny Dreadful or Tribal Wars in weeks, and that makes me understand that ADHD does a number to me, because I get fixated on a thing, do it for a few weeks and then drop it. 

Not looking good for the bass guitar in my room right now, history is not kind to you!
