Cards up through Lorwyn are included.

What the heck is this thing, anyway?:
The League Export Enhancer is a tool.  Like a hammer, or a rock or an alligator.  Unlike those tools, this one works well with MTGO.  In particular, it works well with league card pools and exporting the contents of league pools for help and feedback.

You can use it to export any card pool window from the MTGO client, and it will break the pool down into colors, artifacts, hybrids, golds and lands.

Installation Instructions:
1) You'll need the .Net framework, which can be found here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en. You may want to run Windows Update to check for any new patches after this.
2) Download the export tool, which can be found here:
www.mtgotraders.com/temp/mtgoLeagueExporter.zip (current version 1.0.2770.25259)
3) Unzip the files to any directory. (Creating your own folder in "c:program filesMTGOLeagueExporter" is a pretty good default location).
4) Create a shortcut if you'd like. You can right click and drag to the Quick Launch folder in the bottom left of the screen, or add a shortcut on the desktop, or just run it from the command line. (Start->Run->"c:program filesMTGOLeagueExportermtgoLeagueExporter.exe").

Usage instructions:
1) In your league pool window, have all your cards in the top of the screen:

2) Switch to spreadsheet view:

3) Select all cards:

4) Save as CSV:

5) Run the Export Enhancer and navigate to the exported CSV.

6) Open the exported file (it'll be in the same directory as the CSV file was saved to) and copy out the league pool.

7) Copy out the contents and paste them into your league pool post.  The MTGO league forum for feedback can be found here: http://forums.gleemax.com/forumdisplay.php?f=239

Update Instructions:
Download and unzip: http://www.mtgotraders.com/temp/allcards.zip. Into the folder that you installed the Export Enhancer.

Yep. That's it!

Instructions for adding new cards:

  1. Open allcards.csv.
  2. Add the card name, a comma, then its card code,
  3. Save the file.

Card Codes:

1 = White
2 = Blue
3 = Black
4 = Red
5 = Green
6 = Land
7 = Artifact
8 = Gold
9 = Hybrid

issue with apostrophes' by Anonymous (Unregistered) 72.94.92.139 (not verified) at Fri, 12/28/2007 - 12:51

Great tool!

I have noticed for non-wizards boards, it has an issue with handling apostrophes.  instead of links, I get the html code on cards that have apostrophes in the card name.  any quick fix for this?

Thanks

It appears to be a BBCode type of issue.  When the apostrophes in the links are replaced with %27, everything works fine.

Don't know if that's easily added to your program.  Thanks!

I use hamtastic's exporter all the time.  A great little tool.  Posting a sealed pool online without it is just silly!

Not to nitpick, but it would be C:Program FilesMTGO League Exporter. Without those slashes it wouldn't work. My 2 cents from working on computers all these years...

I had slashes, I promise! by hamtastic at Wed, 08/15/2007 - 14:06

I did indeed have them in in my version, it appears that the content editor pulled them out.  I'll see if I can sneak them back in.

A good point... by hamtastic at Wed, 08/15/2007 - 14:07

I appear to be suffering from: Everyone must know what I already know-itis.  Sorry about that.  I'll add in a description in the opening paragraph.

 Thanks!

"Uh... What are you talking about"

That's basically what was going through my head the entire article. The article has useful information, but at no point do you ever reference what the league exporter thing is (although I have a pretty good idea).

Could you at least include a brief summary at the top?
