0utsider may or may not have a real name.  I'm not really sure, as he did not give it to me.  Maybe he's involved with some sort of spy service, or maybe he's just private.  I like the spy idea a little bit more.  The nineteen year old Riviera Beach resident has his plate full.  He's a student and in the management field, but I'm not really sure what he manages (Spy School maybe?)

Regardless of my dreams of espionage in the MTGO world 0utsider may not be your average Magic player.  He has won his fair share of events, including more than sixty player run events, and is a three time winner of Uncon events.  He is a published poet, and perhaps the most impressive feat is owning three IGFA records.

The IGFA stands for International Game Fish Association.  He has caught a fifty eight pound Dorado Fish (better know as the Mahi Mahi, or Dolphin Fish) on a five pound test line.  That had to be more thrilling than attacking for two right?

This is a Dorado...Did you know that Mahi-Mahi translated from Hawaiian means strong strong?

When 0utsider is not fighting Game Fish he enjoys a game of Two Headed Giant.  Well Extended Two Headed Giant.  His favorite card is everyone's favorite hippo maker, Questing Phelddagrif, and his favorite Magic set is Apocalypse, on the strength of such cards as Vindicate and Desolation Angel.

Enough of the small talk!  It's time for some questions.

Joshua Claytor (JC):  What have you been playing in the Extended events lately?

0utsider (0):  Dark Domain.  I built this version with the help of runeliger, who sometimes writes for the site.

0utsider was kind enough to share his decklist with me.  Here is his copy of Dark Domain, (Please note, I have been calling this deck Dark Zoo in recaps.)

0:  It fits the format well.  (It's fast enough to race the combo decks, while still having enough disruption for control and has good matchups with other aggro decks.)  Tribal Flames is an awesome card!

JC:  What are the decks good matchups?

0:  Affinity, Mono Blue Control.  (I have a good matchup with) Rock engine decks after sideboarding.  Did I mention Affinity?

JC:  What match ups do you not want to see?

0:  Doran Rock, Goblins, and decks with larger creatures than mine in general.

JC:  Do you have any advice for Magic Online players?
0:  Have fun playing. I still can't figure out why some one does something in their free time to just be the best, thats to much stress, and don't always have the attitude where anything other then first is a failure, after all your one matchup away from having a hard time.
JC:  Anything else that you would like to add?

Anything else you would like to add?
0:  Yeah the best has yet to come, When Fats gets around to it, I think you'll be writing articles on him.

With that, 0utsider was back to the exciting world that is his life, maybe to catch another giant fish, maybe to bash face in an Extended tournament, but in my mind, he's off to make peace in the World.  Thanks again 0utsider!
