Our last interview two weeks ago focused on the MTGO acheivements of one FFfreak.  Brad had recently pulled off a streak of top eights with his Extended Counterbalance deck, and we were just talking about stuff after the interview went live.  I asked him if he knew anything about the FFfreakslittlebro screen name, and I just figured he would laugh it off, maybe as some sort of gimmick name like The Ervin Tormos Jazz Hour.  He did not answer me right away, but instead asked me if I would be interested in interviewing his little brother.

Of course I am going to be.  Unless you are talking to the Ruels or the Sohs, brothers in Magic (at least in my expirence) are few and far between.  I asked Brad for the screen name so I could contact his brother, and he gave me this one:

Turns out it is not a gimmick account after all.

Corey Baumeister is a sixteen year old High School Student in North Dakota.  He may also be a swimmer, but I could not get either brother to confirm that at the time of this articles writing.  I did some research on Corey, and swimming seemed to come up an awful lot with his name.

I digress, Corey may not have as much PE expirence as his older brother, but when most PE's fire, he is either in school, or they are going to run late enough for him to have a late night.  That is why you do not see his name much in my Extended Report.  However, you do see it a lot in the eight man room, where tournaments are done often in a hour or less.  Let's get to know FFfreakslittlebro a bit more!

I notice that you tear up the eight mans with regularity, do you have any decks that you would like to share in the STD format?  Doran, as I feel it is the strongest  Standard deck out there.

Doran the Explorer
Created by Uri Peleg, with modifications by FFfreakslittlebro
3 Withered Wretch
3 Cloudthresher
4 Deathmark
2 Nath of the Gilt-Leaf
3 Riftsweeper
Doran, the Siege Tower

Joshua Claytor (JC):  Really for everyone reading, are you FFfreakslittlebrother or not?

FFfreakslittlebro (FLB):  Yes I am!

JC: Why did you play Doran the Explorer?

FLB: I thought the deck looked very strong, and after testing it has very few bad matchups

JC: What are it's good matchups?

FLB: Reanamator, Sonic Boom, Elves!, Gargadon decks

JC:  What are it's poor matchups?

FLB:  In general some bad matchups are Green White big mana and Green Red big mana

JC:  Any advice for Magic Online players?

FLB:  Have fun!  You see to many people get worked up.  They disconnect when you have damage on the stack.  If you take the game that seriously you will not have a passion for it.  Just enjoy it.

JC:  Anything else you would like to add?

FLB:  I know all of you have been wondering, but YES I am better then FFfreak! :)

I do want to thank Corey for his time, and Brad for suggesting that I run an interview with his little brother.  It's not often that you get to sit down with brothers who play the game at a high level, and with both of their recent success, I am sure that we should be hearing their names again in the future.  With the Magic Scholarship Series over, I would seriously not be suprised to see Corey's name in a future Pro Tour.  Thanks again guys, and good luck!
