(Editor's note:  Many of you will remember that I ran a profile on FFfreakslittlebro a few weeks ago.  I have some good news in regards to that, as Corey qualified for Pro Tour Hollywood with his Dredge deck!  Congrats FFfreakslittlebro, and good luck in Hollywood!)

I really wanted to have this issue of Community Profile completed and posted by Friday of last week.  Sadly some things happened in the state of Kentucky, and that kept me from finishing this article.

Do not let anyone tell you that cleaning up tornado debris a fun thing.  It's really not fun!

I got to sit down with doorey loo after I watched him top eight multiple PEs in the same week.  Top eighting multiple PEs I guess is really not really impressive however, in my mind it is the mark of a very good player.  Also, consider the fact that Extended is rampant with stupid combo decks and control decks, and it makes what doorey loo has done much more impressive.

Red Deck Wins in some minds may be nothing more than a fringe deck, however, with doorey loo as the pilot, it has put up some pretty impressive results on MTGO!  Let's get to know doorey loo a little bit more now.

The Rubber Duck may actually be the source of all of his power.

Player Dossier

MTGO Screen Name:  doorey loo

Real Name:  Tanner Nelson

Age:  15

Hometown:  Colorado

Clan:  Warfare Based on Deception

Favorite Magic Format:  Right now, I love Extended!

Favorite Magic Card:  Bogardan Hellkite is my favorite card because I played Dragonstorm for a while and put amazing results!  I have been playing RG Mana Ramp in Standard, and it is such a bomb.

Favorite Magic Set:  Ravnica Block, because it brought back the dual lands.

MTGO Composite Rating: 1626

MTGO Constructed Rating:  1662

Tanner has been on quite a streak with his version of Red Deck Wins.  He has put up multiple top eights with the build and he has given it to us to post here on the website.  Let's take a look at that deck now!

We have seen the deck now let's go ahead and get to the interview!

Joshua Claytor (JC):  Who is the creator(s) of the deck(s) that you gave to us?
Doorey Loo (DL):
Carson Miller,Tanner Neslon

JC:  Why did you play Red Deck Wins?

DL:  Because it seemed very solid at the time, and it is one of the decks that I know how to play well.
JC:  What in your opinions are the good matchups for Red Deck Wins?

DL:  I feel that Next Level Blue and Zoo are both good matchups.  Doran is about a fifty fifty matchup.

JC:  What are the decks' poor matchups?

DL:  Enduring Ideal and Goblins are both really bad.

JC:  Do you have any advice for Magic: the Gathering Online players?

DL:  Have fun when you are playing.  If you get to upset about losing, than I feel that you will continue to lose.  Play decks that you how to play, and do not go into any event without prior knowledge of the deck!

JC:  Anything else that you would like to add?

DL:  I owe a lot of my success to Carson Miller and my clan, Warfare Based on Deception.  Also, I would like to say hello to my old sponser, R.I.P. John Gains.

And that will bring us to the close of another Community Profile.  These past two weeks have been a lot of fun, talking to the youngsters and future of our great game.  It's been wonderful to see how mature that these young players have been.  I'd like to thank doorey loo for his time and wish him luck in everything that he has going on!  Thanks for reading!

Good luck, and have fun in Hollywood. I won a ptq when i was around ur age. It was rome and i couldnt make it. But hollywood sounds much more fun. I hope you do good. I figure if you can do good enough to get a money finish and get invited to the next pt, you can stay on tour for a while. Not having to qualify for each PT is a big advantage Professionals have.

well, anyway, good luck.
