Scroll Rack and Land Tax are nuts together. However, when I built this deck, I think Stronghold had just come out, and I either didn't own any Scroll Racks or they weren't printed yet. This was also in my early Magic years when I hadn't progressed very far as a deck designer. Come to think of it, I think I also ran a singleton Ivory Tower, and Black Vise. Now Armageddon, I have no excuse for, I should have tested that as well.
I never said Angel's Mercy nor Jump are key cards, however they are cards I chose when I ran out of options for Blue/White. If you actually looked at the deck and the cards available I added every blue/white card available and was left with 2 open spots to finish the deck and my options were:

Wall of Faith
Solemn Offering
Convincing Mirage
Jump
Tome Scour
Telepathy
Demon's Horn
Wurm's Tooth
Howling Mine
Land
Those were my choices to fill the last 2 spots with less than 2 minutes of deck building left. No choice was a great choice so I went with what I thought would atleast be playable and help me win or survive.
You only need one Zodiac Dragon to go infinite with Deathrender and a sac outlet.
Sacrifice the equipped Zodiac Dragon, and two abilities trigger - its own death trigger, and Deathrender's. If you stack Deathrender's trigger on bottom, then by the time it resolves, the dead Dragon is back in your hand, able to be put into play. No second dragon needed.
As for the article, I felt it was a bit sparse for a preview article - the content in it was good, but it just wasn't long enough. Like this paragraph.
Edit: Didn't realize this was a last-minute effort when I commented earlier. For last-minute, I think it deserves an extra fireball.

is that 3.0 was not written to be scaled, so big number of players cause problems.
We didn't have a core competence when developing MTGO 3.0, no arguments there.
This will all be fixed in 4.0, thank you all for your patience.
As for not containing land tax, the PTE were simply a placeholder, as the land tax wouldn't have linked up in the decklist converter. I will see if I can get this fixed.
With this comment I remembered another card I had in my paper deck, and that was 4x Howling Mine. Reliquary Tower sounds good in theory but with 1 W and 3 R needed to cast, I always found myself with 3-4 lands in play and not wanting to play another one.
I've got a Zorb! I'll sell it to you for 10 tickets. It'll be the only one you see until they print it in MED4! I got mine from... uh... they gave it to... uh... beta testers of... PLANECHASE. Yes. Planechase in MTGO! It's coming. But Zuran Orb isn't, so you should buy mine for a lot of money.

After all this was my first attempt ever at event coverage; I put a lot of effort in it but my noobness at this trickled from every paragraph. However, it has been fun. ;)
Just over 2 weeks ago, I was moving a box with osme of my old stuff in it and found Inquest #16 from 1996 with Fulgore and Glacius on the cover (Killer Instinct).
I sat down with the mag and thumbed through it and remembered reading it 13 years ago:
Top 10 cards - Defelction - land Tax - Howling mine - Baron Sengir (lol...) - jesters cap - icy manipulator - a few more and an no particular order (im at work now remembering)
then i remembered my first game with my best friend when we played ante and he cheated and put a crd form his hand on top and i flipped over my only rare.. birds of paradise.
Then i remembered playing with my friends, the card shop "mo betta Comics" witht he local brotha tryign to make a buck and convincing me that Homelands was amazing (i was 13-14 then).
i remember my first saturday afternoon tournament when i begged, borrowed and pleaded cards for a Prosper-bloom deck and ended up losing to a RG Speed and a Chain / Stasis deck.
Then i quit for years and played again around 2003ish..

But the refinding of this Inquest sparked my interest once again and it just so happened i found a card shop a few saturdays ago near my home and it was amazingly on M10 release day.
So many cards to lear.. lorwyn, shadowmoon, conflux, shards, eventide, reborn.. m10.. Wow.. But im managing. Ive met some awesome ppl too so far. Ive almost got a 5CC deck, just need 3 more cryptics and a few uncommons. I also opened a MTGO account a few days after the m10 release to find that m10 wasnt ready til the 3rd of august.
I played 5 drafts yesterday and had to tear myself away form the computer to go to bed.. i slept through FNM ( i work nights) where I was gonna play My Sanguine bonds deck that I made for fun (it actually isnt bad) http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/deck.asp?deck_id=396576
i guess my point is that I cant help but foget all of the paper magic experiences i have had and i dont want to miss any more now that magic sucked me back in. I also love drafting.. i love it and online i can draft whenever I want.
I have yet to play any constructed seeing as how i only have 200+ cards = ). Winning my frist MTGO M10 Draft also helps.
My suggestion is Go paper if you Can!! MTGO also if u can. If you cant paper due to IRl then MGTO is amazing too!
The land assualt deck is cool but doesnt actually have land tax....and should probably include some way of drawing cards in addition to land tax. Reliquary tower would also be very good in there.

Land Tax has always been one of my all time favorite cards.
Mono-White deck with Kitties, Serras, Z-orb, Balance, Armageddon, Wrath, Crusade and Jub-Jub(Juggernaut).
(Now if they will only reprint Sol Ring LOL)

it would have been a lot more fun to preview Zuran Orb for the past MED sets if we had had Land Tax.
The Seismic Assault deck actually needs Scroll Rack. Scroll Rack and Land Tax are nuts - it is close to draw four a turn.
Also might have been nice to run Armageddon.

The preview cards look like fun though. I'd stopped playing paper before Zodiac Dragon came out, I'm looking forward to building round it.
