I suppose it could be some personal bias, however, I don't value sorcery speed specific removal spells. There are very few non flying creature threats that are relevant in triple MED draft, also at 4 mana, sorcery speed, and simplying tapping them... I wouldn't consider it too good. But if you go green, it's definitely a card to pick

I've faced this problem before if you present the original name in google with Puremtgo then looked at the cached site you might find the original.

Consider that this is a spin-off special of my regular 12 Uncommons-articles.

I really don't mean or said anywhere that one should pick this stuff up at 12 for 1, that would be halfway to crazyness.

I normally pick the cheapest of the cheap cards, but I made a few exeptions this time, feel free to guess which ones. Oh, and I only featured cards that they didn't put back into 10th, but you probably already know that.

Prices... normally clicking is enough to see one... *cough* or at least it used to be since normally a picture autolinked to the details about the card. Hm.

I think summer bloom could be hot. I've seen it in an extended green deck that looked, passable. Some of these I have a playset of allready and the dream prowler... I vote no. I think there are way better cards at common to run ninjas off of. 4 to set back down is expensive for a ninja, and he has to attack allone and and ZOMG stronghold art sooo much better. wasn't it a K furgasenandad a peice of art? I dig fellwar stone too. so some good picks but i don't thinkthis is like a 12 for one pick up. is that budget for uncommons what are budgett for uncommons32 fer 1 isn't that how bots buy em? I guess I should have read the old articles maybe you give a run down of what budget is, if so, link me back in the header, if not I think you need to give a run down of the price I should be searching out for these cards, even if you're saying mtgo is selling these suckers for XYZ.

hope some of that is helpful. I love content.

As for the list, you're pretty spot on.  I think I actually have 2 Harvests instead of three.  I run no Feasts, and only three Shocks.  There are two Wrecking Balls, and three of the lands are Carnariums.  There are also four Gobhobbler Rats in the deck.  The SB is 2 Ball, 4 Skred, 1 Shock, 4 Shred Memory, and 4 Martyr (all from memory at work).

    Thanks Joshua!

I'm trying to figure out why Roots isn't on the green list.  It's removal.  In green.  One might even say it's GOOD removal.

I have overrun in my most recent league deck I would say over 25 games, I've cast overrun ftw maybe 3-4 times. I'm not saying it's not a bomb, but I had no mana fixing week one and now finnally in week 3 I got a rampant growth... Problem with the rampant growth is that I usually have to get a plains or a swamp with it... I would hesitate to play overrun without a good amount of fixing or a solidly green pool that runs 8-9 forests. I understand that overrun is game over many times, but don't forget that it can function as a virtual mulligan many times. I see you having the same problem I had with overrun with your week 1 pool. Now it looks a lot better with your week 2 pool. Just don't see overrun, play overrun... All I'm saying

Also, overgrowth is not always crap. Especially if you're packing overrun and molimo

Yeah I have no idea what happened here, I'll go back over the editing log and see where I messed up.  Please be patient with me guys, I'm in the middle of a learning process here, and Alex, I'm very sorry that I messed it up, I'll get it fixed as soon as possible.

As it was written, and I am sure you were taking aim at me, I found absolutly nothing wrong with it.  I feel that if you are taking good natured ribs at some one and not trying to destroy their credibility you should be fine.

I will admit I laughed when I read and edited your article, just at that part, because I can see where you are coming from.

  • Innovating in PDC Standard   17 years 33 weeks ago

This article seems broken to me - there are a lot of missing ends of sentences, is it just me?

  • Random Effects #1   17 years 33 weeks ago

yeah.. the negativity was out of seeing so many of the same kinds of articles on the site, not really meant at specific people.. i kind of wrote it out of flustration.. and i should have spent more time editing it rather then being "brash and rebellious" ... anyways... i'll get a picture when i can find my cam ... thanks for the feedback the next one will be longer and feature more decks.

  • Random Effects #1   17 years 33 weeks ago

That was actually surprisingly a really good read.

     Props to you :)

  • Random Effects #1   17 years 34 weeks ago

If you want to power up some really big Drain Life spells, you could replace the Extraplanar Lenses with Gauntlet of Power.  Manaboost without risking a two for one!

  • Random Effects #1   17 years 34 weeks ago

Interesting deck but the negativity torwards other writers on this site bugged me.

    :)

Good times, I enjoyed the article I thought it was a bit short, but full of quality.  Nice debut.

  • Random Effects #1   17 years 34 weeks ago

An enjoyable read, though it's a little bit on the short side. Always nice to see some casual stuff, good work!

I love the casual fun article Rob.  Please post a picture for your avatar when you get a chance.

  • Rune’s Guide to Drafting Master’s Edition   17 years 34 weeks ago

Funny story... It was a lot longer actually... I had made some modifications using my knowledge of web design, and being good friends with the designer of this entire thing.. However, the most random server glitch in the world pretty much erasesd the progress I had made, and being a busy student, I couldn't afford to put in the same amount of time again and still manage to get it in before MED goes live.

  • Rune’s Guide to Drafting Master’s Edition   17 years 34 weeks ago

Best Color combination in my honest opinion is Blue/Black. It gives you some of the best flyers bombs you can pick out of the set, while allowing you to beat in evasion as well.

  • I'm not Terrible, For sure Top 8 Draft   17 years 34 weeks ago

Nice artical, I enjoyed reading, disagreed with a few choices, but that is mainly cause I am not to found of blue.

visuals made it alot easier to read (I don;t think you pick from 23 has loaded)
    cheers for writing up!

I think this article was FAR too short to use Anchors lol

Either way I hope these aren't in the order you like them best cuz I'd definetly pick Oubilette over the lemure....
