Here is one half of the new set up for the MTGO Live Draft events ($25 to join, $5,000 in prizes), it has grown from one eight player pod to two eight player pods to essentially allow double the amount of people to join in the attempted draft fun and frivolity.  This increase is based on the past huge amount of people trying to get into the event and the high amount of people that had to be turned away from each of these before.  Hopefully this will allow more hopefulls to compete for the high level cash prizes that they're interested in.  Look for audio interviews and player profiles of the contenders tomorrow!

What is this "MTGO Live Draft" about? Is there a place to read more info on it? Thanks Ham - I look forward to the event coverage. :-)

Heya Giraffe,

This year we had a series of "Live" events at certain shows, like PT Austin, where you played MTGO live at the event. The events are a series of draft pods, where the winner of each advances to a final round to compete for their share of $5000. Here is the link to the details: http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/other/040...

Hope that helps.
