After my last article, RoE's vast and unique card pool lead me to developing and designing six decks: 3 Classic/Legacy, 1 pauper, 1 commander and 1 extended. I share with you my veritable Johnny Knowledge and give you six decks to build off of and tweak yourself. Each is fun to play, each is loaded with synergy, and each of them net you more wins than losses. Elephants! Doppelgangers! Hellions! Eldrazi Spawn! What are you waiting for? Let's check 'em out!

This was going to be a sprawling, aimless report that was supposed to be about me winning with MGA in Classic Pauper but meandered into all kinds of digressions and non sequiturs. But the internet ate that gem when I tried to submit it, so instead of tl;dr this report is going to be like my deck of choice: quick and dirty.

Just because there are a lot of sets, thousands of cards and hundreds of possibilities, I decided to divide my "Guide to BYOS" article into two parts. This week I am examining the older sets and talk about deck options from those sets for one of the most exciting formats: Build Your Own Standard.

To make up for a rather lack-luster week of Legacy Dailies I take an extended look at yet another top deck in the format. LandStill has made a big showing recently and it's good to know your opponents so step inside and we'll see what we can do about dismantling this deck type.

Summoning Trap makes a contribution to an archetype which many of us find fascinating. However, such a deck would require several counterweights to make it viable in competitive play. Jace, the Mind Sculptor should be one of the best. But what if you don't happen to have one (I mean, four)? In my opinion, there is a card of a lower budget which works just fine in this deck.

Playing well with a teammate is one of the best parts in Two Headed Giant games. In this article I'll give a very cheap and fun deck to play and give a detailed game report showing how a teammate (unknown before the game) and I were able to beat a much stronger deck by working together. I'll also go through Rise of the Eldrazi and point out cards that will play better in multiplayer games.

Tired of playing the same 60-card archetypes over and over? Turn-2 combo decks too easy? Want to play your junk rares? Hate my guts for my music-related puns? Play a big deck! No two games are alike, and you'll never get sick of playing it. I take my 460-card deck for a spin in the Casual Decks room and share some of my unique card choices.
