4,200In this double whammy article, I review the rest of the Theros cards and all Born of the Gods. A ton of great Pauper and Peasant cards to include in your cubes.
-
3,346A set review and critique from financial, playability, and design perspectives.

2,952Using the Beta client and looking at the seating chart to see if signals actually mean anything. I take a look at this draft and try to figure out what I missed... I ended up playing the two colours that the 3 people passing to me where all in. Still built a reasonably solid deck though. Looking forward to Journey of Nix drafts - will be happy to see this format go by the wayside.

4,024Journey into Nyx is upon us, so it's time for another Standard Pauper review. In this second installment, gwyned breaks down the rest of the Commons and examines their potential impact in the upcoming metagame.

3,595Finishing up the cube review with Green, Red, Black, Gold, and Artifacts. A lot of sweet Peasant cards are coming your way, so check it out!
-
3,636In the second part of my review of the new set for block constructed, I analyse the impact that the new black, red, green and multicoloured cards might have on the format in the lead up to the block constructed pro tour.
-
2,537Started out in red, and switched to blue-black, then with a splash of red, and ended up wanting to play all 3 colours. Is drafting more about who drafts the most mythics, or does deck construction matter... I managed to make it to the finals with this one...

3,690The new set is almost upon us, and the spoiler is complete. Come on in to see my thoughts on how the new set will impact the block constructed metagame.

2,906The draft addict - at it again! This time I get sucked back into red-white aggro. As much as I try to stay away, the colours are deep enough that sometimes you can fight for cards and still put together a reasonable deck. Probably should have been black-white or even blue-white...
-
2,274Draft addict at it again. This time with a blue-white deck that I pilot to the finals. I discuss how I interpreted the signals in pack 1 that pushed me in this direction. Took a good helping of luck to get to the finals though.
-
3,510With everyone trying to force White-Red these days, the other colors are often open. This draft starts out very poorly - I'm all over the place. I pull it together and build a reasonable deck, but a significant amount of luck was required.
-
3,547All I do is draft. I win more than I lose - by a little bit :). Currently out of 27 drafts done that include Born of the Gods packs I am at 53.35% game wins and 58.05% match wins, with 8 outright victories. So - I'm not a pro, or maybe even good by your standards... If you want to see what decisions I made to win this one, read on - or if you want to tell me what horrible mistakes I made, I'd love to hear that too. Always looking to get better.
-
2,653A successful draft with a UR tempo deck. I'm not saying this is a perfect example of the archetype, but it did manage to go the distance (with a little luck as usual). I go through the picks and summarize the matches.

-
4,115In part two of my Born of the Gods set review, I run my eyes over the black, red green and multicolour cards before taking a stab at answering the question of whether the set can save what has become one of the least diverse constructed formats ever.
