Constructed. Were you just talking about limited? If so then no comment...Obv I would not run TT ever.
Just about every constructed deck you played aside from the Mono-Black control decks had the 4/4 wurm and were running the madness guy that pumps to a 3/3. Therefore, the TT actually played better than the Patrol Hound. And you could sac him versus Edict in the mono-black matchup instead of losing your hound. Overall played fine.
And basically no other decks existed in OTJ constructed so Patrol Hound was pretty close to worthless whereas TT played a significant role at times.
The other option would be to drop an armaments and a weight of conscience and run a pair of Endless Horizons. Once you hit four mana, everything else is castable, or in the case of armaments, castable and equippable, so you'd be free to scour every land out of your library with very little risk. The ultimate in deck thinning, and barring a naturalize you'll hit coup wrath mana three turns later maximum.
Affinity is not a bye, i don't know what are you talking about. Aggresion + Pyroblast can't be a bye. Also Affinity sometimes kill in 3rd turn. and a LOT of times in 4th. You say that you consistently kill in 3rd? of course, not true. I even doubt you consistently kill against Pyro on 5th.
I agree with the rest of your post, also agree your version is better. But with 4 sign, I'm even more sure, affinity is not easy.
THis article is just lame. Version u showed is just bad in so many ways;/.
Its full of lies for example:
"They include MUC, MBC, Affinity, and Cloak"
Muc- is a bad mu only if they put a pressure on you so fae or other kind of fish is worse mu, u just play lands and chromatic's and w8 until u drew 2-3 grapeshot they u combo their spell also load urs storm its not easy but smth like 50/50 pre board post board u get durres and pyro.
Mbc - Bye in first game nowdays mbc run only distress from discard and a lot crap removal vs u. In second game u bring 4xdeep analis and they bring more discard+when they are smart also relic of progenitus(no flashback,no treshold no rite of flame). 70/30 g1 45/55 game2
Affinity- g1 bye g2 bye easiest mu u must only watch for 2xdisciple of vaults
Cloak - gain life is overrated in this mu i could kill for smth like 100dmg form 4grapeshots only 1 was enough.
+for unicorn i run echoing truth
here is my version and its really better than version showed in this article:

4 Ancient Spring
4 Manamorphose
4 Sign in Blood
4 Sulfur Vent
2 Chromatic Sphere
4 Chromatic Star
4 Grapeshot
4 Dark Ritual
4 Lotus Petal
2 Geothermal Crevice

2 Duress
1 Snow-Covered Island

1 Flaring Pain
1 Echoing Truth
1 Shred Memory
2 Empty the Warrens
4 Deep Analysis
1 Geothermal Crevice
Those aren't glasses, it's yellow energy seeping from beneath her closed eyelids. You can see the picture alot better on the article you linked. It's alot better than the funky multicolored knight they used to have at least.
I think I agree with everyone else that not picking the bomb Tower Gargoyle was wrong, especially since you took a land over everything else, which goes against common sense. The priorities are removal, creatures, and bombs. If I was forcing naya I'd start from there before worrying about mana fixing.
I agree Akrasan Squire was the best pick (the only one that got passed). I personally would rate the Sigil Blessing 2nd, not the Feral Hydra.
You can tutor for it with Matron.
You can recur with Auntie (if you are playing Auntie that is)
It doesn't get dropped if it's turned up by Ringleader.
You can split your own goblin into two more. Wierding a War Marshal nets you 4 goblins in total.
It's casting cost is reduced by Warchief.
I am no classic player, so i apologise if this question is a bit dumb, but what's so hype about warren weirding? Why not just run 1 or 2 weirdings that you can tutor for with matron, and put terminate in? Is terminate not just much much much better?
I think this was really interesting. It was neat looking at whether drafters picked up each others signal, for instance.
I think it might be interesting to revisit the idea once you all have a bit more experience with the format, or during zendikar, as there did seem to be quite a lot of somewhat suspect picks!
I'd have to tinker with it a bit to get the tuning right but I think for starters, some of the 4 of noncreatures could be 3 ofs. Back in the day when I had 4x Thawing Glaciers, they were awesome in every deck I could fit them in. Thinning is particularly good in mono colored decks where you don't care about hitting late game mana. On the other hand as you said you generally want to hit 7 mana at some point so that you can blow out an opponent overriding your defenders. If that really IS the case it might be that your soldiers aren't getting enough synergy really needing martial coup to go off/reset. Certainly you should be playing the aggro aggro and not aggro control with a good draw. I think of Martial Coup as a plan b when you get flooded. And a plan c when everything is going well but you just need a few more men. Mono white is not my usual cup of tea but I think the vets idea is sufficiently funny an idea to try it (if I had the m10 cards which I don't.)
I would never cut black, not when you can setup the Warren/Auntie combo and just lock down the board. Even in a mirror matchup you want black for Earwig to cripple your opponents deck.
I fell a good attempt, but you were missing several keys points in the storm matchup.
First , as you were told, not counting flaring pain is a HUGE miss. Flaring pain can be fetched by shred memories, so only having one is easy, I even see some people having it maindeck. It makes useless prismatic strand, safe passage, dawn charm, and benevolent unicorn.
You also missed Destroyland cards, Green decks, especially those with good pressure do good in sideboarding Termokast.
I don't like your storm list and is not what most people is running, but that's debatable.
Gaining several lifes really is pretty bad hate. Storm decks can easily do 30-40 damage in the 5th turn, if you wasted time gaining life, you won't kill him before. GW cloack is in fact very weak against storm, I would laugh at armadillo cloack, seriously.
Some of the things you say are good and correct though. Strong discard (more in quantity than in quality) breks Storm. Pyroblast is very good against storm, especially if gets a long with aggresive strategy.
I would like it more if you separated for colors the options, to have a better display of the ways of each color to deal.
I think you missed some options in each color.
seriously? do you have any idea? Recruiter is a 2 of at most. you only need one to set up the win and there are 4 matrons. as for cutting black, i have to ask again. do you have any clue? Warren weirding was slow to catch on but it is absolutely nessecerry to clear the way for your Lackey. yes gempalm has been the defacto but guess what you cant kill a 1/2 goyf or a nimble mongosse on turn 2.
Just a heads up, Goblins is already winning tournaments, and Lackey will just make it that much better. I would lose the black in your deck, its not needed. Definitely 4 recruiters, and I would add a tin street hooligan for the game one artifact kill, and you can fetch it with the matron if you need.
I used to pick on Whiffy's articles for that. He made one really silly mistake once and I commented on it. (He said his board state was "gaining parody". So I laughed.) But then he either got better or found a proofreader.
Awesome! I'm picking up all sorts of tricks these days. Is there an easy way to find/decode the card you are looking for? "d80121604.dat" doesn't scream "Bramble Creeper" to me...
is storm still being played? i know in peasant it's a strong deck but in regular pauper? i been out of the whole pauper scene for a while but i been getting back in little by little.
Tell you what, lead by example. You change your pic first before asking it of others.

That Elctrolyze exted art card would be awesome ... if it didn't have the tacky white textlines just floating out there.
"please change your pic, its scary"
Lets not start this nonsense again....
m10 is all about the unc's. merfolk lord is worth jack. please change your pic, its scary

In addition to the reasons already mentioned, Warren Weirding gives Goblins an out to things like Tinker -> Inkwell Leviathan.
In your section about Balance you said:
"And what are those glasses? Old man spectacles?"
Those aren't glasses, it's yellow energy seeping from beneath her closed eyelids. You can see the picture alot better on the article you linked. It's alot better than the funky multicolored knight they used to have at least.

Flaring Pain has no effect on Benevolent Unicorn.
I think it has to do with the 'goblin' type.
You can tutor for it with Matron.
You can recur with Auntie (if you are playing Auntie that is)
It doesn't get dropped if it's turned up by Ringleader.
You can split your own goblin into two more. Wierding a War Marshal nets you 4 goblins in total.

Nice article. I should try adding a few typos to my own, given the amount of comments it seems to generate... :P
