4,849I have been playing EDH for years, in paper. Now EDH is online, and I'm moving it over. I'll share my best tech cards - including Tsabo Tavoc and Tainted Pact.

4,846It's time for another "A History of..." article! This time I take on Nightmares-- a veritable creepy Magic creature type to be sure. Pop on your favorite Evil Dead Movie and make some of that traditional Halloween pudding/cake crumbs dish with gummi worms in it, because this Nightmares compendium is here just in time for All Hallow's Eve!
-
4,845It has been quite a week. Moderm Masters spoilers are everywhere (including on this site, today). Wizards has also announced pricing for Modern Masters - and the drafts won't be cheap! I look at the cost, the EV and what we can expect from the set - plus this week's other news, prices and more.

4,844This article is extremely exciting as I display a deck I have had a large amount of success with and had loads of fun playing. Don't miss this edition of Ambition's Cost, the article for budget players.

4,843Back around 2000, decks were being named for cereals: Trix, Wheaties, Cocoa Pebbles - no one really knows why. Paul Barclay called his deck "Full English Breakfast" - because it was "full of fat and a lot more fun than some boring cereal." This was probably the hardest deck to play correctly that I have ever seen - and it was directly responsible for getting Survival of the Fittest banned in Extended. Come see how it works, and how to port it to Classic.

4,843Join Kumagoro at the begin of his deckbuilding voyage through his favorite formats. Is there still room for a Johnny/Timmy in this time and age? Let's find out about that, starting with one of the best contemporary toys: the Birthing Pod.

4,843It's Friday. MTGO had another rough patch coming out of the downtime, and reimbursements are flowing. We know what Leagues will look like - basically a Daily where you can play your rounds at any time - but Pete offers some advice on fixing that. On the plus side, Eldrazi are crushing cop cars, and the Zendikar fetches are being reprinted, but as super Mythics. All that, plus news, prices and deck tech, all just a click away.
-
4,842I want to look at a few cards that are not here yet. Wizards has spoiled an Eldrazi card. It worsks wonderfully well with a few cards - one in particular - from Urza's Saga. The result is a deck that *might* make it in Classic, but certainly will in casual. Before that, though, I'll look at all the options for playing the deck in Standard.
-
4,842The Commander 2013 precons are available on MTGO now! I'm going to be looking at each of them and see what makes them tick. First up: Eternal Bargain!
-
4,841Godot continues to make the best of a rough 84 draft, looking for a path to the finals with a below-average arsenal. Can a much-maligned rare in its best-case scenario punch that ticket?

4,841Let's take a look at some of the worst 4 booster sealed deck pools that I've had the dishonor of playing.

4,838It's once again autumn and it's once again time for rotation in Magic. And just because I feel so melancholic these days, I will look at the cards we are losing with the rotation instead of looking at the new ones that will arrive after it. So no strategy, no deck lists, no rogue never-before-seen secret techs this week. This week I just have the old cards with me and some melancholy!

4,836PiDave explores the possibilities of the upcoming add-on from Wizards, Planechase, by adding it to...two drafted, Ravnica block decks?!? Casual format + casual format = Hypercasual! And even his wife is involved!
