How does Imperious Perfect.dec beat Meddling Mage.dec???
Regardless of who goes first MM.dec stops IP.dec from ever playing a spell.
As far as the Doran deck I think you run Bloodstained Mire because it can fetch any colors you need thanks to shock lands. Stupour seems like a pointless card, I'd cut it for Vindicate.
Seeing how the MTG community has responded to losing someone like Ritchie kind of puts things into perspective. There's so much more to this than just a game. We're a community in every sense of the word. I remember reading articles by Ritchie as I was just learning about MTG and everyone I've seen mention him has had nothing but good things to say about him. He will truly be missed by many.
My prayers and wishes go out to his family at this time.
Like many say, hindsight is 20/20. I agree that Roar of the Crowd may work as a finisher, but even to that extent, I'm a bit unsure. In terms of Barage and Weight of Conscienceness, I undervalue them because from my experience they are undervalued all around. In other words, they tend to table often enough to take stronger cards in the beginning, similar to how slivers were drafted back during PT San Diego in 2007.
I have to disagree with your desicion to play the moonglove changeling. For one thing, you have too many 3-drops. More importantly, you are only playing 2 black cards and 3 swamps. You are hoping to draw one of your three swamps by turn 3 to play the changeling, and even if that happens he is a very marginal creature.
While you do have a lack of other playables, I would have considered going with the 2x Roar of the Crowd over the black cards, as they are a great finisher in Kithkin if your opponent can stabilize.
Obviously in hindsight you should have taken the removal in pack 1 pick 2, probably the Barage which I think is better in this deck than weight of conscience. It certainly seems you undervalue those two cards, deciding to go against your entire draft plan as early as pick two to avoid them.
Other than that, thanks for the videos, it was fun to watch.
Let's not forget that since the format doesn't support infinite play, only mediocre to average players join this queue. I've had my ratings go up 60 points by playing in this queue, and I've never played an 1800. Most of my opponents are downright terrible. Rounders in poker always look for the easy game, and MMM has been the easiest game I've ever found on MTGO.
I'm the only person to play this version of the deck so far (I edited the list also since I ran into problems with some of the cards like the Ogre maindecked in testing), and we never really came up with a deck name. I called it Rebel Stompy, but I don't really like the name.
Posting anonymously with derogatory words in it has no purpose other than trolling. Maybe you should try elaborating or saying who you are, but considering I've never done anything bad on mtgo ever, I would hope you're thinking of someone else
Does the deck you listed have a name? I really liked the interaction between early-drops, rebels, cloak and an anti-control package made of lion, tithe and thrill. Another deck you designed that I would feel confortable running in an event. Good idea!
This article was too large for my screen resolution. Any chance of making all the pure MTGO articles fit in 1024x768? I'd like to read Ham's articles, but doing so right now is inconvienent.

As of last night, the queue paid out a mix of Lorwyn and Morningtide boosters... a tragedy.

The format now pay in Morningtide boosters only, so you can go infinite now.

I never met the guy but did exchange some posts with him on mtgsalvation.
All I can say is that he was always friendly and willing to help, a really great community builder.
Gave a lot of his time to helping people better appreciate the game.
Rest In Peace PBG, and to his family and close friends my sincere best wishes.

I played a version of this when Timespiral was in standard.
Gosh darn I love Thrill of the Hunt. Spike, you inspire me.

Good article. I enjoyed this different build of gobbos.
I liked the article, both content and format. If you're up to it, this seems like a very solid weekly
I enjoyed the article. I was hoping to see you go into some Gift-Rock detail though!
I'm Bob Dole and I endorse this article.
Nice job, I am looking forward to this as a regular feature (hint hint!) :) .
Thanks for including links to the metagame and event posts as well - that should make it very easy for a new user to dive in.
One editing note - you have both TPDC events as 8.08, but of course the more recent one was 8.09.
