Leagues appear all but forgotten at WotC. I'm pretty disappointed that the only comment they have made regarding leagues is 'not until the collection server is coded correctly' which is at least 2 months away at the earliest.
Would like to see the return of the features tables between V2 and V3. It's a good landmark for what WotC is or isn't doing to improve the game for the consumer. They have no problem putting out sets every couple of months though... profit priority!
Good article Hammy, but truthfully without leagues, I'm starting to lose interest in MTGO.
Main theme: speed Sub-themes: slivers, combat efficiency, ping/untap, regeneration
My casual precon self refrained my PDC self from adding all tempest goodies (aka moggs) in just one deck. So I ended up walking the main green path (considering the 4 muscles) with red as support (for burn and more slivers). It didn´t become full out aggro as it could have but I guess this fits fine with the precon feel.
I would rate this a 5 fireball article but i have been unable to login to the site for over a week. Im told its being worked on but i still cant log on.
I like "Pressure Cooker" better because I think it acurately conveys what will try to do with a G/R aggro precon deck for Tempest. With quick G/R creature and red burn, we will constantly try to apply "Pressure" to our opponent with the creatures, while simulatneously "Cook" them and their creatures with our burn.
I have a deck started but was holding off on submitting until we see what the name will be, but I'm sure what I put above will accurately describe the winning deck.

The Ham Jones index beat out the DOW this week!
To single space hold down shift and hit enter. Also make sure there is no extra spacing below your decklist.
I must also agree. This was way easier to read and I enjoyed all of the content. Good job hammy.
Wow, the format is actually readable now!
Good content, as usual.
What? Make your precon contest? A pauper one? For Tempest? How could I miss this one?

even is there's more red cards we need some early forests to play turn two rampant growth or elf.
I think the mana curve is enough aggressive i play a little more 4cc than 3cc to make rampant growth and skyshrould elf better if on table by turn 2.
Synergy
Mass Migration
Primal Scream
Sliver Explosion
Manipulation
All for One
I can't seem to get it to NOT use excessive spacing. Sorry bout that.
Deck Name #1: Instant Slivers
This idea comes from the quick R/G aggro idea that wants to get the game over ASAP... just like you want your oatmeal or rice ASAP... instantly.
Deck Name #2: Steriods
This is playing alot more to the theme, with the Muscles and the instant results you can get with an aggro deck like this.

Although it seemed a bit optimistic overall in the price estimation, still a walkerdog esque article
Guess what? I have the LATEST tech.

It's .05. How about checking again?
Mind Harness is a mirage uncommon. It's not 0.05, it's like 0.30 (last I checked). No big, but getting facts straight is tech.
Maybe you're thinking of OLS. OJT definently is rotating.
nitpick, ojt are not rotating yet
The photo is hell of old (a year+), but yea, that's me looking all goofy for my wife.
I don't know if I'll get a chance to submit a decklist, but I had a deck name come to me a little while ago
Sliverocious
When I think of a Sliver Aggro deck, I think Sliver + Ferocious

good analysis and pretty comprehensive. i'm looking to get into classic, albeit slowly (money squeeze).
one comment: i hope that really is a photo of the author.
I don't know if I'll get around to making a decklist, but here's a deck name that came to mind:

5 fireballs. roar!
Simply awsome walker. This article hits homeruns on every paragraph.
